Basic mods

I don't know if copying someone else's work is frowned upon here but I was wondering if someone could give me some pointers on how to go about some basic modding. I've never done any of it before and I would have no idea how to go about it. I don't even know if it's the sort of thing one can describe to someone. Nevermind, if it is then I'd be very grateful if someone could help me.

just use the Oni Galore/Wiki site yeah?

You're supposed to replace your Oni.exe with a version we patched.
Close to the top of the page Tosh and I linked to, there is a download link.
You can also search the old forum for "developer mode", "dev mode" or "thedayismine".
The latest version has a few more features (unlocked mouse wheel and 3rd mouse button, and a widescreen mode). Get it .
I'll be dedicating a thread to "Oni SE" (major improvements to Oni's executable) as soon as I can. Don't know how soon it will be.

EDIT: In the latest version, the Dev Mode cheatcode has been changed to "x".

ya i found it - now i'm getting the new new one

all done and working fine, thanks a lot - btw that basic scripting guide on Oni Galore is veeeeeeery useful indeed
