I play KP on Vista, but sometimes I want to minimize the KP to make something with other program(s) and I can't - cursor of mouse is locked

I don't know, I don't have Vista. I still use Win2K at home

The intention is to re-create a level from GITS on PS2, "the shaft". So the platform starts at the top of the structure, then goes down.

Open the console
Type "Developer"
Press any function key except F12. That should restore the mouse.
(F1 = texture edit, F2 = cameras, F3 = meshes, etc => cf menu)

Or simply press TAB to open the inventory, the mouse should be there as well.
