Has anyone else been having to wait a long time for the forum to load/get a mysql error?

Same issue here. Sometimes its fine, other times very slow and the occasional mysql error.

on the day that I signed up I noticed that somtimes a page would take a lot longer then it should, hitting refresh
a few times didn't help either.... and this was around 3 am here so I doubt it was traffic -.O

Actually, Harry moved the forum to PunBB to avoid various forum issues, but it turned out this lighter core can be just as glitchy at times (most probably a server-wide issue with MySQL though).

It has been quite frustratingly slow in weeks past, although lately it is practically flying for some reason (for me).

Nope, it's slow again I literally spend more time waiting than I do reading/typing.

I think it has to do with the actual machine it's hosted on. I'm gonna ask if we can get oni.bungie.org moved to a faster unix box or something.

Whoa. The forum has just gone from Slowest Forum Ever to Fastest Forum Ever. Seriously, I don't know who did what, but it's great now, at least for me, so I imagine it is for everyone. Thanks!
