Seeking "Veracity Chronicles scripts" by Shaqx

Hi guys,

I've told you that I found Birgit Q when I was looking at some old oni websites. So the reason for that is that I was seeking for these "Veracity Chronicles scripts" that were made long ago by Shaqx.

I've tried emailed Shaqx (using old forum email) but the email server says that his email doesn't exists anymore.

So I thought ok I will post the email directly in oni central so maybe he can it someday or maybe even someone has this old script around and may share them.

I am huge fan of oni and I have been in last years seeking for old
scripts and old mods for the game.

I was reading the old forum when I found your posts and messages about
your "Veracity Chronicles scripts". I've got very interested in to try
these. So I have searched all the web but I couldn't find the files.
The max that I could find was your old website archived:

So I thought in email you, maybe by some chance this email could reach
you. If so please let me know and also let me know if you have any
backup of these scripts. I would love to play them and show them to the
newer community (all the credits will go to you).

Heys guys!

I have some great news!

WJTW found these scripts in their cd backups from 2000s!

I will play them soon and upload them as AEI packages so anybody can play them!

I am really happy because I thought these were lost forever!

Oh man I played up to the second chapter.

What an amazing scripts! Especially part II.

This' astonishing especially considering the date that they were made, the older file in part II is dated 10/2001. Back then there wasn't any documentation like we have today, yet it still has some of the more complex cinematics in a script that I have seen. Things like "fork" are used everywhere and even trigger volumes (the pre-existing ones). Also the scripts aren't short they are quite long.

I am really happy to find this piece of history, thanks again WJTW (and Shaqx)!

There's also a third part alpha that I am going to try next.

Right now I think these are on par in quality with Mariachi's scripts, especially the second one. That should give you an idea how cool they are.
