Oni 2.0 Discussion

Hello everyone, I recently saw a post which i can't remember who posted it, but anyway he said that we need good guy who uses and teach them step by step how to use a new gaming engine, the point is i have some free time to learn then teach you so which one is best for a game like Oni?
I recommend CryEngine 3 as i have it now but if it doesn't suit oni then tell me.

Hi F-Shepherd. I don't think we really have evaluated what engine would be best for an Oni 2. So that would be up to you.

So... here's challenge #1
Start CryEngine and let any character perform a kick.

Re: Oni 2.0 Discussion

a game engine only offers physics and logic. animation and modeling has to be done in a separate program. i proposed blender as an alternative cause it's everything in one. plus, it very light weight, runs on multiple systems.
