boss shield
what does the boss shield do exactly ?

I compared damage taken by the mercury bow between a character with boss shield and a character without and they were the same (using ai2_showhealth) .. so if it doesn't decrease damage what does it do ?

Ahem, it looks like some wiki editors have written it "BossShield", thus confounding our ability to search for "boss shield" and find the relevant documentation. I'll fix that now. If you look at the ONCC structure, though, you'll see a field towards the very end called "BossShield Protect Amount". It ranges from 0.0 to 1.0. 1.0 means 100% resistance to damage, knockback, and stun, and 50% (you'll see on the page that Konoko has 0.5 as her setting) means half-damage, and 50% random chance of stun or knockback. At least, I think that's right.
