Simple answer: No.  But you might be able to combine the 2 envmaps into one.  Using the UVmap for the chest, you could place the envmaps in the correct location.

Ah, I remember X4, but I'd forgotten what that form of Double looked like, I just remembered his bumbling "good guy" form.  The part where he goes psycho killer on Megaman's pals was memorable.

out of these which character do u want to see next :

- Updated BGI agents and BGI executives
- Regenerating Tanker
- ShinatamaBot 2.0
- Golden TCTF

EdT for motoko i thought that maybe we should wait to see if dream is going to release those textures and models.

P.S : BGI cyborgs (hydra hammer typhoon trooper) & and BGI boss are still work in progress they require a lot of new animations and hence a lot of time so i figured i should finish other projects (the ones i mentioned above) which require less time first. (while still working on them too of course)

Depends. If you're almost done with BGIs then those. Guess whichever one doesn't need a lot of new moves at the moment.

these are some sketches i drew of the regenerating tanker, and the Hammer, to make modeling them easier. (Both are based on tanker).

on the regenerating tanker the white parts are parts that i'm not sure what to color yet, and i'm still unsure about his boots in this drawing i was using the elite's, i may use the swat tctf or barabas's instead.
the yellow things on the neck and pelvis are chains, and the yellow and blue thing on the sleeves are a flames pattern.

I'd say finish the regenerating tanker, it's getting boring just fighting one sub boss with regenerating abilities tongue
Then move on to shinatama bot 2.0 ^^


-I noticed that the hackers of oni community made a lot of modifications before they locked me up, do you have any idea what they want with an old game? -Modifications? What kind of modifications?
-Hard to tell, without getting a look at things but it looks like they're repurposing it. -Why?
-Beats me, all the game has is brutal melee combat and furious gunplay. -I dont like the sound of that.....

I really like it over all, although I have to admit that the eyebrows are distracting.  I've never seen eyebrows do that before smile  The rest is perfect.

I'd suggest applying reflectivity to the metal parts and a slight (12.5%?) reflection on the skin. Looks good though!

@ Iritscen maybe u're right abt the eyebrows, i basically traced the old ones, did u mean the shape or the color ? if u want edit the screenshot for me on how i could improve them.

@ Gumby thanks ^^ yes i was going to add reflectivity on the metal parts on the face when all textures are done (still haven't worked on the helmet in that screenshot), the skin reflectivity idea is interesting too big_smile

@ EdT, sorry i wasn't checking my email lately, just saw it, tbh i'm not sure i will be able to do that any time soon, i'd love to do it one day but i don't think i'll be able to do it soon, if u ask DarkLitria though she might come up with a cool design that i'll later try to make.

I was referring to the shape, it seems distorted.  As EdT mentioned, it would seem to be the UV maps that are the issue.  The eyebrows are meant to be basically straight in two segments: .

Iritscen if u could trace over the screenshot of how u want it to look like that would be really helpful, cz i personally don't think 2 straight lines is realistic, i get what u're saying though.
the picture u linked i saw that before, i like it because he looks more organic and humanoid, but it's a bit too cartoony.

however, the problem isn't in the U.V maps this time, U.V maps is an issue when u add polygons or change the poly mesh, which i didn't do this time the problem is the original texture is really small and pixelated it's really difficult to trace the eyebrows ..

i usually paint over the old texture with a single color, then use severed textures for the nose and mouth, and then trace over the old texture the eyebrows and lines, and then add shadows and highlights.

if u look at the old texture it's not exactly 2 straight lines :

Nice texture, but he doesn't look mean enough. Love the worn skull look, nice touch, but the color could use a little bit of desaturation imo.

well that's a matter of personal taste about the color, i like it .. and he looks mean enough without looking over the top imo.

also the chest texture is NOT complete the screenshot was just about the eyebrows.
