That's great news, even though I'm not technically quite capable of fully understanding pathfinding and it's difficulties I think I can get the meaning of this breakthru 
That's exactly what I've thought when I've played using Konoko HD 
But why does the model seem to be more colourful than when I use it, I mean the contrast looks better here

I think EdT just use the old violet-blue texture. I changed them to dark blue (same as the original texture) as requested before the release.

I can say that it certainly wasn't a specifically planned shot. Typed in carousel, performed a few long-animation moves, moved the camera to some random angle and rapidhit screenshot a few times. In the end the fraps folder contains a bunch of images, some turn out more interesting then others!
