Low FPS

I have the same problem, when I start the game, the intro is good and the menu too. But when I actually start playing my fps drop really low. I've tried installing new drivers for my graphics card but I read somewhere it doesn't work on PCI-express cards and I should install new motherboard drivers. Will that help? Because I have to find out what motherboard I have.

Btw, I find it weird that new drivers will solve it because the game is so old, my old drivers date from after the game and installing even newer ones would solve it? How does it work?

And what are your other specs?

It works because newer graphics drivers use the card more efficiently.

Oh sorry! What I wrote in the wiki confused you. Editing already...

I didn't want to mean that, if it is a pci-express driver you should check first if it work with latest drivers, if you don't get success then you should try the motherboard drivers, normally helps.

(old drivers seemed to work better with the old cards from or close to oni release date. I don't think this verifies nowadays with the new cards.)

I have
ATI radeon X1950 pro
3ghz processor
2gb Ram

If the only reason to install new drivers is because they use the card more efficiently then it won't matter because I don't think my hardware is the problem.

Well I already did install the newest drivers for my graphics card. Should I update the drivers of my motherboard too?

nevermind, I the game works fine when I turn off some options in my drivers.
But now I installed the anniversairy thing and now Oni won't start up anymore.

nvm, I reinstalled the game and the mod again and now it works.
