Hmm, that's odd, but the vehicle still looks fine in the AE on my computer.  Is your Detail slider set to maximum in the Options?

Re: Texture problem - AE

1st problem: I'm guessing it is reverting to a lower mipmap due to the extra RAM AE needs. Just a guess.

2nd problem: Most definately caused by the motion blur that move has combined with a high poly Motoko. Ask EdT to upload the fixed Motoko model.

No, it has nothing to do with that package.

Re: Texture problem - AE

Gumby just said that the AE requires more memory.  It loads all the characters into memory for each level, for instance.  So perhaps you're running out of RAM or VRAM.

Re: Texture problem - AE

I have the same problems on my desktop. I have 3 GBytes of RAM, 512MB of VRAM. It shouldn't be a problem since particles in oni, or whatever ae requires, are not verry big.
On my laptop however, i have no problems, but it's hard to play team arena modded with more players on a slow processor and an integrated graphics set. I also find missing effects like the lasers that move, and when i shoot, it sometimes hides the projectile or beam, mostly on the new weapon set in AE and the phase beam projector. The telekinetic machine had no problems however.

Re: Texture problem - AE

u update ur oni everyday ? that's a bit much :\ and re-check the date of the version and when u've downloaded it.

with the flickering trails problem with Motoko ... I'm sure it's fixed ... but maybe that u are having much more enemies than i've tested and having a buffer overflow problem ... how much ram do u have ?
and just reduce the enemies a bit tongue I mean more than 15 enemies at same times is bound to cause memory problems whatever ram u have or character u're using.

Re: Texture problem - AE

what do you mean by update?
Anyway, tell him via messages.
I also think its a video card problem. Mine makes artifacts if it isn't properly underclocked. And even so, it makes artifacts in games. We will try to change it soon. Im really tired of them. They also provoke crashes and instabillity in display.
