well now that Oxe voted it would be, and i just realized that you could simply vote no for every law, if it isnt passed, others lose points if it is, you get 10 points... ima have to change that....
But if everyone votes no to everything, nobody wins. Unless of course you make the goal of the game to be -100 points. Or make points not matter at all, by making the goal something completely different.
Proposal:
305. The winning condition is to be changed so that you can win with 100 positive or 100 negative points.

No - on the basis that someone can make up a rule that benefits them extremely, everyone votes it down, and that person can just keep on getting negatve points
"He looks mean enough to tear my arm off and beat me to death with it. In fact, he looks mean enough to tear his OWN arm off and beat me to death with it."

Hmph, you are right. There is no way to force someone to have positive points.

so does the judge overrule the law?

I think this will make it less likely that things will stagnate while still keeping the general spirit of rule 204 alive; rule 204 (If and when rule-changes can be adopted without unanimity, the players who vote against winning proposals shall receive 10 points each.) shall be amended to the following:
306. If and when proposals succeed or fail without unanimity, the players who voted against successful proposals and the players who voted in favor of failed proposals shall gain 10 points each.
Open to suggestions of how to adjust this amendment.
If we don't change the direction we're going, we'll likely end up where we're headed.

So when a vote fails, those who voted for it get 10 points? (Also, i would include a clause about the person who created the proposal to get no bonus points.

i was just thinking the same thing
Also, I would reduce the amount to 5 each, 10 is a little too extreme forsimply thinking differently then the majority...

Yes on rule 306!

Yes.
(Also, i would include a clause about the person who created the proposal to get no bonus points.
Why? If it succeeds, I obviously voted yes and therefore get no bonus points. If it fails, I voted yes but I won't get bonus points because...it failed. Lol. Unless there's something I'm missing here?
Also, can we have an informal vote on whether and by how much the point value of 10 in this rule should be changed?
If we don't change the direction we're going, we'll likely end up where we're headed.

So does it pass or fail?

Um, that depends on if Mukade was actually voting yes.

Mukade: My personal message is, if you want to, you might as well vote yes; if I alter the wording now we'd have to have everyone re-vote. To make up for it we can try and change the point goal to a higher number later on.
If we don't change the direction we're going, we'll likely end up where we're headed.

I shall bring the following:
307. The letter T (upper case and lower case) will be banned from all future posts. Violators will receive -1 point PER POST CONTAINING A T. You may substitute any character for that letter.
