Well, i need help to create nice looking shiny parts, this is what i know already:
Bgr5551 looks better than 4444, but the problem is, it's 16-bit format, so it looks ugly compared to the bgr32, wich is 32-bit.
I'v tried with bgra32, but then the parts turns to be fully white and shiny, so my question is, how can i avoid that, and just create smooth looking shiny textures?

Well AFAIK, there is no way to do what you want to do.
You only get 32 bits to work with. If you want more variety in transparency you have to sacrifice some color depth.
If you save your image in a 16 bit format you will know what you are getting before you send it in to Oni.
