Hello everybody!
I have proble with Oni. Game crash after Intro or (if i have a luck) when i want click something in main menu... I used "daodan" but when Oni crashed i can see "Please post you "startup.txt" to <link to this forum>".

Hmm. Well, your startup.txt seems ok.

Run that tool in your Gamedata (or edition\Gamedata if you have Edition installed), and post the hash.txt it genereates.

Oh shoot. I was tired when I looked at your start.up.txt. sorry.

It seems to be crashing on the GL extensions.

Now it crashed after loading when i want start new game or load any of my save games. I tryed this same operation with clear persist.dat... Nothing changed...

Well. That is a bit more useful, we fixed one problem. I don't know what the other is ATM though. Anyone get any ideas?

(have you tried reinstalling? )

Yeap, many times... This is really strange, becouse Oni was working on my PC (with XP) few months ago without daodan or something like XP patches... Few weeks ago i instaled Vista, but it sucks and i cleaned my hard drive... After instalation XP i wanted play and "Blam, Oni Crashed".

Maybe you updated your graphic card drivers in those months and now Oni wants back the old drivers.

No, the updated Daodan seems to have fixed any graphics problems...I think. Maybe your CD got scratched...

Maybe the documents in you Game Data Folder are formatted. Hmm, try to figure out of there are some wrong files in the documents 10-14

I had the same problem with level 5, and every time at the same moment the game was stopping. I figured out there was a loose file in 5level_raw or whatever. When i deleted the loose file the problem was over ( maybe my english is bad. I come frome holland thats why its sux)

Ok, I see what you are getting at.

Replace "formatted" and "loose" with "corrupted" and "corrupt" and it makes sense.
