"Maybe I should start to try"?

Hi!

I've played oni for several years and I have this doubt since the first time i finished the game, a lot of time ago. During the final battle the (griffin alive's) muro often says "Maybe I should start to try". What does he means?:/

For years I thought that it was a translation error (in the italian localization of the game there were a lot of those), but now, using the english version, i discovered that he really says that…English is not my first language, so i wonder if this is some kind of common phrase that i don't understand at all…:/

Yeah, it's "Maybe I should start trying", right? That means he's confident that he can beat you if he really tries. Partly, he's saying that he now realizes he should take the fight a little more seriously -- but mainly he's just bragging that he hasn't even been trying to win up until now.

I see…thanks a lot, hadn't get that before: literally it has no sense at all in italian.
