Muro - Matt Dillon

Shinatama - Dakota Fanning

Well, I don't have the time to come up with a full cast, so I guess I'll mention that geyser's choice for Konoko was Elina Lowensohn

She's in her 40s, though. It's hard to find a young actress who can be convincingly brutal yet vulnerable at the same time.

Okay, I had to come back to this thread and waste some precious time because I'm a sucker for fantasy casting. So here's my line-up:

Mai/Konoko - Brea Grant
She's already volunteered to die her hair black to play , killer of killers. I think she can kick serious butt if given the chance in an action flick, and she can pull off a half-Asian look in the right outfit and makeup (which is an area that Hollywood never fails at).

Alternate Asian casting: Eriko Tamura
She already played one character named Mai who used guns and martial arts, why not another?

Muro - Edison Chen
I keep coming back to this bad boy in my searches and thinking "He's so perfect" and then realizing he's the same guy I was looking at before. I literally cannot imagine a better face for Muro.

Griffin - Norm Woodel
He played Hasegawa('s voice) in Oni, but he's got a good real-life look for Griffin at his current age. I couldn't find anyone who actually looks like Griffin in Oni, but is the specific look that important?

Maybe I'll cast Drs. Kerr and Hasegawa later, but it's taken me too long to find just four actors! Anyway, I don't think Kerr would be hard to cast. Possibly that politician of adorage's would like to make an acting debut?

I really like your choices, especially Brea for Mai, just dye that hair purple, put some gel in a voila! I also think muro is a good choice

I can't see that being Griffin tho

I was just thinking that Mickey Rourke could do Barabas (rent Wrestler, awesome movie) when I was looking for a picture I came across this from Iron Man 2, so he basically already is doing Barabas ... in a way.

The only prob is that when hollywood makes movies out of games it sucks. Mostly if fans wrote and directed the movie with help, the game movies would be awesome, like i was thinking of a final fight movie, now that would rock

Dumbledore as...? If he was for Kerr hed has to cut his hair O.o. Its too long xD. Hasegawa.... uhm since mai is abt 20++ i bet her parents would be at the age of around 30~50 O_O. Too old. So i guess ur going with kerr?
