Re: Screenshots

Shweeeeng !

if you have enough HP (overpowered is good) jump where the truck is, just behind it where you can see the door,  instead of dying you will activate the end level cutscene smile Major shurt cut.
Should be usefull for the Oni on time thing.

Also, did you knwo that there are two icons in the Oni.exe file ?

(Just kidding. In my opinion I think the the car is very suitable for her, because the car and her jacket and her jeans have the same color)

I use the "O" for Oni, and the Konoko head for Konoko Payne. smile

That second one was done by a forum member. Look in the visual section, somewhere.

Re: Screenshots

Atmospheric Interior is the only time you can preform this move with the black ops, because normally you don't have crouched enemies which are back towards you.

Re: Screenshots

Isn't that just the disarm from behind? smile It is the weapon that matters, not the crouching.

Testing out stuff with the daodan. smile

Re: Screenshots

Nice, I just found an old file with a bunch of screenshots I took years ago.

Hmm...  I guess a lot of these aren't really that cool, especially with all the stuff you can do now thanks to this community.  But hope you enjoy them anyway.  smile

Re: Screenshots

Yay, this purple window is nice big_smile !
And aren't the Windows and Mac renderings different? Because of the use of DirectX vs OpenGL I suppose?
IIRC, the Mac version lacks anti-aliasing and shadows on characters.

Re: Screenshots

I thought the PC version had the same basic lighting as we did, with no shadows on either platform unless you count the round spots under their feet.

Leus, what's going on in the pic where Konoko is looking at a red light in the distance?  Can't tell what it is.

Re: Screenshots

regarding gumbys picture, with all the muros. I was thinking how an oni sequel would be written and i came up with an idea if muro was in ti. He starts walking around her talking then another behind konoko and one to her side and one to her emtpy sides until she is surrounded by all of them, dont know what would happen after that

Re: Screenshots

It's actually not in the distance.  I'm pretty sure it's in the Airport Cargo Hangars level and I somehow got up right next to the light and thought it was cool that I got there so I took a picture.  Don't remember how I did it; probably cheated, lol.

Re: Screenshots

The PC and the Mac versions both use the OpenGL, with some precomputed lighting on the level.
