That w1_tap_p07 and w2_sap_p07 + TXMPs is just eye-candy: cases do not fade, they stay on the ground (kinda adds to the atmosphere)

Cool...now to see how quickly I can crash Oni with my machine gun ^_^

Oni's engine is smarter than I thought
Hey, could you make it so that bullet holes don't disappear?
While testing this feature I discovered something: You can't put bulletholes in the right piece of glass in the first level (the one taht is moved in the cutscene)...

@ hurling enemies over banisters: not very convincing.
@ empty casings: I'm not too happy about those... we'll see.
"Hey, could you make it so that bullet holes don't disappear?"
Why would you want to make Oni stupid and crashy, again?

You'll just have to live with that, I'm afraid. But you can always file a request in ONK_talk:Glass on the wiki.
Behold the power of that which is yet unborn! For the swirling images that flow forth from the Chrysalis are only a shadow of the sleeper's true power.

@ Iritscen:
Concerning the cutscenes: how about a complete list of the buggy places caused by the dash hack, guys?
Ugh. Is that going to help you, though? Don't you need to carefully adjust the timing of the running in each scene to fix the problem? I think that would require you to check each cutscene yourself anyway.
Thanks anyway. It's so much better to have me play through whole chapters, just to check that they are fine

Loser: lol! If anyone can find and fix that bug, you would be that one.
You really made Oni harder and more challenging with your latest mods. The weapons dodge is great. No more sniping the enemies at a distance with the plasma rifle.
The ability for the enemy to hide reminds me of what's written at Feral's website about Oni:
Enemies will communicate, work together, move objects to block your path, hide behind furniture, even behind moving objects.
Who knows maybe even these words might come true with 7AE in the future:
You'll be able to use objects within your environment to your advantage, such as throwing a chair at an oncoming enemy, or pushing a bookcase over to block a pursuer.

Interactive environment sounds like a myth to me.
As for the dodging, I haven't checked, but it's quite possible that they will hide behind each other now (i.e. characters are handled as dynamic obstacles for the dodging behaviour).
Also note that smart dodging is incomplete as long as projectile awareness is messed up. On the PC, we've identified the bug and fixed it, but Mac folks will probably have to wait.
Anyway, it's already very nice how they dodge plasma rifle shots and bullets. This already makes most unarmed-VS-armed encounters more balanced overall (e.g., AI VS AI)...

Keep the bullet casings! They are nice!
I don't really have an issue with it, it was just a random thing I noticed...
