Script, for this particular outfit i was trying to imitate the screenshot, no ponytail, and for this model the chest (armor) is a bit thicker and with the katana there, the ponytail and chest would intersect a lot. However i'm thinking of giving him the ponytail on the modern outfit, so he has 2 outfits with ponytail and 2 with shorter hair..
my biggest challange for hayate currently is deciding which outfits to make him, i like the modern one with jacket and white belt though the jacket will be hard to pull off model wise, and others liked the cap one too .. And i've always wanted to make him a prince of persia outfit .. That would bring total to 7 outfits .. (with the red, white, black and dante outfits) which might be much for 1 character

do u think the jacket looks ok ? I almost gave up on it .. it was difficult to make an open jacket in XSI, i found a model on the free 3d model site wearing a vest .. which i isolated .. and at first I merged it with the chest but it looked very stiff when merged with the chest alone, so i had to divide it between the mid and chest ..

Quite interesting.
But the shirt is looking a lite flat compeered to the jacket, don't you think? The jacket from the other hand look ok.

I was only asking abt the jacket .. The shirt and pelvis and skin are not done texture wise, jusy a 'place holder' till i figure out if i continue orr ditch the outfit..

If there are any hayate players out there ..
The new version is in progress .. Gonna add 1 or 2 more outfits (in addition to the black, purple and dante already made ones)..
and some move updates ..
so for the update do u have any feedback or requests for the moves ?
are there any moves that u think should be replaced or don't suit him ?
example i changed the running ninja throws to konoko's running lariat throws which suit him better .. I also changed the forward punch cz the previous one seemed harsh (the animation wasn't smooth) and i made the dragon claw a 2 hit move

I approve of Dragon Claw being two hits, it's really unreliable having it as a three hit because most of the time the enemies will block it and that's pretty much it for you.
Also the lariat throw is good as he has little crowd control in terms of throws

HAYATE 2.0 RELEASED on 17/10/12
Change Log from beta version
-Added 4 new outfits (suit, dante, purple, black)
-Various improvements to the red and white outfit
-Added Hayate minions
-Replaced Ninja run throws with Konoko's
-Replaced forward punch
-Made dragon claw move a 2 hit move
-Changed character variantScreenshots and Download Link in first post.
P.S : The swords included are non functional at the moment (treated like any other empty pistol)
Future version will hopefully include sword moves, depending if I figure out how to add particles to the sword, and make it that hayate can't be disarmed from it and have unique animations only for the sword without affecting other weapons.
Also future version may include other outfits including a Prince of Persia outfit, cap outfit and a blue outfit.
Please report any bugs and if you could choose a favorite outfit besides the black armor outfit to be included in the mega pack (i'll include the black armor one and a second one, also keep in mind that hanako will get the matching outfit as well)

I'm going to try and make a video about him, been listening to a track lately and makes me want to use it in a showcase. Although with my friends playing LoL a lot it's hard @__@
