so .. concerning the hammer character
i was thinking of something like this :
rhino from marvel comics ...
the hammer would be based on tanker and would have a big armor making him look like rhino with a horn on the head as well, instead of the fists i'll put the hammers ... he'll have moves from elite and tanker, basically slow heavy punches ...
and now i was thinking since i have a hammer, and a viking helmet i got motivated to make a certain famous character .. can u guess who ? i'll also need this cape for him http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/I … /ID/321141 .. hint : i'll also use ninja's electric particles.
the cape is in 3ds and c4d .. don't know if you EdT can convert it for me ?.. i asked 3d-map too.
note i do know that i have talked about several new projects and haven't released much lately, but i promise i'm working on them ... some characters i've reached an obstacle with and some i'm still brainstorming.
example female bgi boss .. the head is very high poly i'm trying to reduce it without detail loss.
jester i'm trying to model him right to add those pointy things on his sleeve and clothes and make them puffy
hydra i'm brainstorming on another possible look for the pelvis cz it looks like shinatama bot a lot.
hayate i released a beta but i'm still brainstorming of what custom throws would suit him and if i'll have the skill to make them.
@ oxe .. i'm sorry i'm not able to decide which sounds i need for him yet :$ could u wait till i finish his model and start working on the moves and such ? i actually forgot what sounds the creature made him ... but there has to be some level of consistency between them .. some of the sounds u gave me would work well, the scream and oh & wohoo .. but the spoken words i'd have to make them high pitched

Same: here is the cape is fbx format: http://edt.oni2.net/files/Cape.fbx.zip Mod tools can import fbx. Note there is no texture included the material is just a color.

Samer: There was no UV map for the cape, it was just colored red. You could use a solid red (or any other color) texture for the cape.

mm ok thanks although i once had trouble with onisplit not accepting parts where there were no u.v maps .. and since i'm gonna merge the cape with the neck i can't chose 1 color for both.... i'll try to find a tutorial on how to make u.v maps.

i want to try and use the earthquaker particle from barabas ... and link it to thor's hand such that he appears to slam the hammer on the floor and an earthquake occurs ... that's one move ... but i have no idea how i can change the position or the source of that particle ... and if i could add ninja's electric contrail on top of the earthquake particle .. so it's an earthquaker with electricity.
i want to also try to make the hammer a weapon which has two firing mods one shoots electricity as the van de graff which stuns .. and the other shoots mutant muro's electricity i hope i can change the color of that particle from red to blue. also no idea how to do that but i know it's possible.
now still working on jester's model and textures :\

Awesome.
I have worked a bit with weapons and projectiles before, and here are some tips: I believe you can change the source of the particles, but I'm not completely sure. As for changing the color and fire modes, that is certainly possible.
If you need any help, you can have a look at some of my old weapon threads or maybe ask Gumby. If I'm correct, it was him who experimented extensively with weapons and projectiles in the past.

Iritscen of course i searched before, back when i asked for the hammer model...
i only found this as a free app. it's a java applet http://croftsoft.com:8080/space/collada/
however the result of the conversion of 3ds to dae using it .. doesn't work, it makes xsi crash :\

Samer is this enough for you to start making the BGI Boss?

Basically, its the Fury's body, with Lara's pelvis, Motoko's thighs and a modifed comgirl head. I replaced the comgirl's hair and made a simple one.
This should make it easier to modify the looks of the BGI boss

Thanks, I've always wanted to start on this model. Finally had time today, it took me several hours. I had to redo the head several times to get it fairly right.
I used Dark Litria sketch as the basis, though I choose a blond, since Konoko and Motoko already had pinkish hair. But if you want to change hair colors, it's fine with me.
